Calfstock Lane

Calfstock Lane is a BOAT (byway open to all traffic) or an ORPA (other route with public access). You can expect to find:
- A non tarmac surface
- Width Restriction (probably not for 4x4 vehicles)
Only small enough for motorcycles, four wheeled TRO

'No 4 Wheeled Vehicles' - How's your luck...? Come back when your leg has mended and enjoy a nice woodland ride. However, mind the horses, usually loads around here. Also, this lane can get crowded with dirt bikes on race days at Canada Heights.

Hi had a nice ride along this lane last weekend good ride some walkers and kids playing on the rope swing near the gate at the track side but a good ride jan 01/12. KMX 125

The Sidcup M/C Club managed to get this Byway banned for cars about 40 yearss ago. This was to try to prevent cars getting free admission to Canada Heights events or to do damage to the land between events. There was a sign at the Button Street end which kept disappeaaring, hence the one further up the Byway.
Please do not ride on Canada Heights which is owned by the Club - we report those seen to the Police (who also do off-roaad training on the land, with our permission).

I went to Farningham wood car park. Was a sign from Sevenoaks council saying no motorcycles. So maybe no longer available. Or did I misunderstand.
