Pilgrims Way is a BOAT (byway open to all traffic) or an ORPA (other route with public access). You can expect to find:
- A non tarmac surface

I rode this as my first off-road experience on my Tiger 800. It was a fun ride, quiet and relatively predictable. There was loose gravel surface the whole length of the route, intermittent grass sepearting it into 2 or 3 paths. Not sure how challenging a more experienced rider would find it, I'm assuming this is on the less-challenging end of the scale ... but still fun.

A really nice little bit of the Pilgrims Way to ride on with a mixture of different recreational users all happy to share the track with each other. I rode this in March 2023 and it was very well maintained and drained. https://youtu.be/EYMYyreULUs
