Yoakes Lane

See the video/comment on youtube.

Yoakes Lane is 2250 meters long (1.4 miles) which took me 6.2 minutes to ride, at an average speed of 13.55 mph. It is a BOAT (byway open to all traffic). You can expect to find:

  1. A non tarmac surface
  2. Gate(s)
My description:

Part nice gravel and open and part thing overgrown in summer.

You will scratch your car if you're going down it.

Nothing in the way of ruts and a single gate. A low tree at one point, not sure a high landrover would fit under it.

Thank you for doing this site although it's a real shame that you seem to have stopped doing the videos. The entrance to Yoakes Lane via Ashford Road has been blocked by a barricade of old hedge and tree trimmings and there is a sign that was hand written/painted that the writing has worn off of but is flat on the ground. So access is a no go and it is getting very over grown. I will be attempting one of the other entrances another day. (31/08/2014)
