Irelands Lane

See the video/comment on youtube.

Irelands Lane is 453 meters long (0.28 miles) which took me 2.3 minutes to ride, at an average speed of 7.3 mph. It is a BOAT (byway open to all traffic). You can expect to find:

  1. A non tarmac surface
  2. Grassy trail
My description:

Some tarmac then grass finally small ruts. The exit where it meets tarmac is damaged, 4x4 vehicles beware.

Doesn't look like it gets much use.

I tried researching this lane in the 1990s when it was a RUPP. Not a lot of good evidence except Tithe awards. So it's good to see it has been "Bywayed".

Looks like the road from Kent Lane (A21)to the farm might be a private road/track? (Might explain the 'dirty look'?!) In which case it would mean accessing the byway from Moat Lane and turning around when reaching the farm!

Drove this morning in the Forester but entered at the Moat Lane entrance and turned around at the gate marked 'Private Woodland'
