Comp Lane (Old Coach Road)

Comp Lane (Old Coach Road) is 2840 meters long (1.76 miles) which took me 4.25 minutes to ride, at an average speed of 24.85 mph. It is a BOAT (byway open to all traffic). You can expect to find:
- A non tarmac surface
Known locally in it's entire length as "the old coach road" "Comp lane" is the council official name for this portion.
My description:
Easy. Long. Stunning views. Great track.
Passible all year in any vehicle.

Drove on 11/07/18 - gravel, lovely relaxing drive in LR Discovery - heatwave currently so no boggy mud or puddles, all gravel and relatively smooth - watch out for potholes and the end of the route becomes tight so keep your speed down, plenty of dog walkers.

Still a very pleasant ride in Jan 2023 from Winton Street to West Firle on this well maintained byway, 4 wheels are banned for the winter months but still open to 2 wheels. Not sure how they work out what months to exclude certain vehicles because it rains all year round in this country. https://youtu.be/n_lmo57s5NE
