Scrip Wood

See the video/comment on youtube.

Scrip Wood is 1430 meters long (0.89 miles) which took me 5.25 minutes to ride, at an average speed of 10.17 mph. It is a BOAT (byway open to all traffic). You can expect to find:

  1. A non tarmac surface
  2. Deep Ruts
  3. Ford crossing (stream or river)
My description:

Deeply rutted. Nice long lane, small stream crossing.

Beware the footpath half way down.

At the google streetview start you go toward the farm and turn immediately left.

The google streetview end shows the road you come out on, it is a little off the end of the byway.

attempted this today (31/10/10) and well lets just say dont try it in a 4x4 unless you have lots of ground clearance as i got stuck in some pretty deep ruts! Fun times getting muddy!
