Hempstead Lane is 659 meters long (0.41 miles) which took me 3.52 minutes to ride, at an average speed of 6.99 mph. It is a BOAT (byway open to all traffic). You can expect to find:

1. A non tarmac surface
2. Extreme mud
3. A deadend

Council say:

No through road, dead-end, continues into two bridleways across Milton Hide. Recently repaired surface, please exercise discretion in use.
